Hexion, one of the leading suppliers of adhesives for engineered wood applications, is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the Mass Timber Conference and excited to share our products for both existing and new applications at the show in March. CLT is an increasingly popular building option and opens new opportunities for engineered wood in tall structures. But getting the cost, fire performance and durability equation right is critical. Hexion has several, proven fire-safe adhesive options for CLT manufacturers that are cost-effective and meet or exceed all market emissions criteria. These include both melamine formaldehyde (MF) and phenol-resorcinol formaldehyde (PRF) adhesives. Plus, we have developed special mix systems to help manufacturers achieve lower waste and greater production efficiencies.
